Become a Volunteer

Latincouver is a place to grow. We all have dreams, and for most of the immigrants, it is very difficult to get a job similar to the one you had in your country. When this happens, volunteer work is a great opportunity to gain Canadian experience. Besides, volunteering is a very rewarding activity.

To be a volunteer, you need to be engaged with the activity you are about to embark yourself on. Be aware that, even when there is no monetary reward, the experience gained is invaluable and can be included in your resume.

This experience can be a push in your career, and the references you will receive for your work are invaluable. That is why this is a great experience to show your talents to the world, to the organization where you are volunteering and to your future employer. In Latincouver, the opportunities are endless.

You will work in an office where the music is always on, the people are friendly, and where the smile on your face is the first requirement.

Latincouver is a physical place where friendships are started and even love begins. We believe this is an opportunity nobody wants to miss.
You only need to give us the best of you, commit to an amazing purpose and enjoy your time with us.

Latincouver works with multiple events and projects during the year, for this reason we ask a minimum commitment of our possible volunteers or interns.
All volunteers are provided with orientation and training.

Latincouver is a well-recognized professional organization in Vancouver. When I immigrated, a lot of Latino and non-Latino people referred me to Latincouver. I went there and received a warm welcoming to Canada and to the organization...

  • Volunteering is a highly regarded activity in Canada. Many organizations around here rely solely on volunteers. Volunteering not only improves other people’s life, it also helps making you a better and more developed person. Volunteering in Canada is also the “foot at the door” for newcomers. It is through your volunteering that you can prove your Canadian experience, as well as your potential, to your future employer - who can, by the way, be someone you just met during your volunteer activity while building your Canadian network.
