Social Media Assistant Latincouver (Volunteer or Internship 3 Months)

Latincouver is a non-profit organization that brings together both Latin Americans and Latin enthusiasts living in BC. Latincouver activities cover a variety of areas like business and culture, creating multiple events tailored to connect and empower people.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in organizing campaigns and developing social media strategies
  • Conduct market research
  • Assist in developing a digital marketing plan
  • Assist in the organization of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
  • Create newsletters, content for social media
  • Apply marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings, etc.)

Requirements and Skills

  • 15 hours per week  at least 3 months
  • 1 year of experience in Marketing
  • Exceptional writing and verbal English skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proactive and positive attitude with high levels of energy
  • Previous experience in social media, digital relations, or marketing is an asset
  • Spanish or Portuguese is an asset
