Project Manager Assistant (volunteer)

 Latincouver Cultural & Business Society – Vancouver, BC 

(volunteer/ unpaid internship) 

Latincouver is a non-profit organization that for the past 12 years has been connecting over 100,000 Latin Americans with Latin enthusiasts living in Western Canada. As of today, we are the point of reference within the Latin American community in British Columbia. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist and support the Project Manager in a timely and accurate manner 
  • Handle administrative functions
  • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports 
  • Act as the point of contact among project manager and team members 
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies 
  • may be requested to do other activities as needed

Requirements and Skills: 

  • Advanced English level, written and verbal 
  • Spanish, and Portuguese are an asset
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills 
  • Ability to meet deadlines 
  • Ability to work well with others 
  • Proficiency in MS Office 
  • Time management and organizational skills 
  • Experience as Assistant or similar role is an asset
