A culturally grounded, trauma-informed initiative in response to the April 26, 2025 tragedy, supporting Vancouver communities affected by loss, grief, and anxiety.
This initiative was intentionally developed in response to both the direct and indirect impacts of trauma, with the goal of bringing people together, alleviating fear, and supporting community-wide healing, trust, and collective resilience.
Many impacted were immigrants, refugees, and newcomers who felt retraumatized by the event.
By offering support within a trusted community setting, the initiative reduced stigma and created a welcoming space for care.
