At Latincouver we welcome everyone because we truly believe that in order to grow in all aspects of our lives, we need to create a safe environment where the sense of community is a must. We care about everyone because we all give the best of us in every single thing we do, for the best interest of ourselves and the people.
We recognize that migration might happen because of several reasons, and it has a huge impact on the way we deal with all of our interactions.
The Plaza is where things happen, and we are here to connect with our collective dreams of making a difference in the world, respecting the land and people that were there before us.
To value, respect and recognize our volunteers, members, sponsors, supporters and the efforts and contributions of the communities
To empower the people and communities being served
To build a positive and long-lasting legacy; transparency in our actions and decision-making processes
To support sound stewardship of our resources in order to be fully sustainable
To be non-partisan
To operate with integrity and professionalism
To foster unity amongst our members, volunteers, and the community at large
To promote acceptance, diversity and inclusivity
To operate in a fiscally responsible manner at all times
Latincouver creates a socio-economic space to promote relationships and cultural exchange among Latin Americans and the Canadian mosaic.
To be the premier organization in BC where Latins and locals come together in a plaza to do business, celebrate culture, engage with Latin affairs, and pursue sustainability.
We want to create physical and virtual spaces to allow for Latin American culture, business and social interaction within a Canadian context to build a strong community while we support the growth of one another in British Columbia.
We have a talented and passionate team dedicated to the success and growth of Latincouver. These amazing people are the backbone of Latincouver and through them every event and program is made possible. Through the dedicated efforts of our team, Latincouver supports communities, empowers people, promotes culture, and connects business.
